Elixir Vitae

Location: Tibet, Lhasa Barkhor

This wonderful monk/medicine man was so unusual. How I wondered what was in the bottle that he decanted with such care into such a small container for another Tibetan. He looked up momentarily as I snapped my photo, but quickly went back to his duties.
